Suspicious over doping against Russians, Anju Bobby George might get lucky enough to bag a Silver Medal.

Who doesn’t know about one of the finest and successful athletes of India, Anju Bobby George? But not everyone knows she may bring more laurels to country as dubiousness has been popped up because allegedly, the top three position holders, Tartyana Lebedeva, Irina Meleshina and Tatyana Kotova were not very fair  and Anju, along with two athletes has accused that they have tasted the victory with the help of dope.

The distinguished athlete bagged 5th position for long jump event Games in 2004, and although the Russian athletes have failed their doping tests but if it comes out to be true then India would be able to gear up the tally of Olympic awards from 28 to 29 which would be an occasion wroth celebrating.

Anju, Brownyn (4th) and Jade (6th) have asked their coaches to back them and would take their cases to the International Association of Athletics Federations and the International Olympic Committee too, if needed. She has got full support from her husband, Bobby George, who says it’s just a strategy and an attempt to deviate the truth as doping racket runs deep. Russian government was equally responsible and there were some links with mafia where money was involved through Singapore. He further adds that other two athlete and their coaches are totally supportive and Australian Athlete’s former coach, Gany Bourne has said that the matter would be pushed at an Athletes Australia conference. Adille Sumariwalla, is also supportive.

Let’s just hope that truth gets unmasked and the deserving one gets the job done.
