When he gave his debut card to the toll attendant he charged the money, have the receipt of the money charged and left. Dr Rao was shook by the incident when he got a text that instead of 40, his account has been charged by 400k.
After that he suddenly informed about the same to the gate staff but they they were not ready to accept their mistake. Not seeing any progress, he decided to move towards the nearby police station and greeted by a constable.
When being questioned by a constable, the gate attendant accepted their mistake and promised to pay the amount by cheque but Dr Rao demanded cash to which Senior Officials were contacted and he finally got his Rs 3,99,960 around 4am.
It took a while to get everything in place. Though the incident taught us to use the debit card or any technology very carefully cause if not used properly, it could lead to damage and you have to pay the price.
