Social Media is a great platform for keeping our views forward but what to do with people’s narrow mindset which keeps on digging the issues until it becomes a massive one for no reason.
Few days back, a Toronto-based South-Asian bridal magazine that caters particularly to Indo-Canadians, Jodi Bridal Show, posted a picture of the cover of their latest edition with a Tamil bride showing her legs and that’s enough for people to get offended giving a fragile reason that showing off the skin destroys their tamil culture. The moment it got posted, it started receiving myriad of ill comments just because of some fucking mentality, followed by slamming the photographer and the magazine for “destroying the Tamil Culture”.

The moment it got posted, it started receiving myriad of ill comments just because of some fucking mentality, followed by blaming the photographer and the magazine for “destroying the Tamil Culture”.
The photographer Vipoositha Gnanenthra of Ovyian Photography, told Now Toronto, “My job is to reinvigorate interest in sarees. The saree is a piece of cloth. You can wear it any which way. It’s evolved for so many years because it was so versatile. It kept up with changing times.”
Thanuska Subramaniam, the model also cleared her views saying that people should focus on the tamil talent behind the pic instead of getting offended for a pointless reason.
Well, there’s some relief out there as there were some sensible comments In favour of the picture.
And about the legs,
damn, those are dope pair of legs…!!
