Be ready for a spicy, romantic love story coming all the way from much celebrated Writer, Chetan Bhagat, based on his best seller novel, “The half Girlfriend”.
The Movie’s teaser is out and the lead actor, Arjun Kapoor has been receiving mixed reviews from audience. While some seemed happy with the way he orchestrated his acting skills, some complained about the stereotypes characters he has been playing.
Here’s what actor said before the teaser release. Arjun, via Twitter shared with all his fans the difficulty he faced to match up with his character, A Bihari lad, Madhav Jha. He added that it was not a cake walk to learn a new accent (Bihari) as it requires the in-depth knowledge of the language combined with the culture it belongs to. Living the character took a whole new level of hard work and dedication and it was pretty challenging for him.
The next big challenge the actor faced was playing basketball. He opened up that how it went messy because they didn’t had to play the basketball, they had to pretend the game of basketball while at the same time, and they had to make sure the shot looked realistic. So, when even a tiny bit of something went wrong, they had to repeat the whole shot which time was taking? Though, he enjoyed learning basketball a lot as there were professional coaches that came all the way from NBA.
Coming to the trailer which will be aired soon, Arjun Kapoor says that it’s a great concoct of everything which makes a movie worth giving a shot. He further adds that he is sure that it will prove out to be successful in impressing his fans.
Speaking about the music in the film, he told as usual the movie plot is covered with beautiful and captivating music like any other Mohit Suri’s film. It was a wonderful experience for him to be working with such a great director and awesome music comes as icing to cake.
“Half Girlfriend” is based on a novel written by Chetan Bhagat back in 2014. The Movie also stars cute Shraddha as the female lead. The movie is directed by Mohit Suri and produced by Chetan Bhagat himself.
